ReH20 was created as a tool to help parents deal with one of the most commonly encountered illnesses in our children; vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration.  As a parent I know how valuable our children are to us and that we will do anything to keep them safe and healthy.  As a physician I realized that many parents were feeling ill-equipped to support their children during episodes of one of the most common symptoms of illness; vomiting and or diarrhea.  More importantly I know that with an easy to use technology like the pediatric rehydrator most children can avoid hospitals, i.v. needles and the fears, hassles, and expenses associated with taking your child to the ER.  A large body of research has shown that most children can be cared for by their parents at home provided that parents are given the right information on how to accomplish this.
